Find out more about her career path and her new challenges at T&S Group:
Virginie, what is your background?
I am a graduate from ESCP-EAP and I started my professional career 19 years ago in the financial department of Nestlé, before going towards Human Resources and more specifically Talent Acquisition and Development. I worked for 10 years in the Robert Walters recruitment firm as a Managing Partner, then 5 years within PwC France as Director of Recruitment, Internal Mobility and Employer Branding.
I’ve always wished to be involved in international groups, because I particularly appreciate being able to take advantage of the best practices in each country and adapt them to the local market. Through my work, I have had the chance to build and manage great teams, always keeping the same focus: recruiting, developing, supporting and sharing. I love working in collaboration, it has always been very rewarding for me. This remains essential in my new role as VP HR at Technology & Strategy.
Why did you choose T&S Group?
T&S is an attractive, fast-growing group with an international dynamic. The project of the company matches my wishes for professional development, and I hope to play my part in this beautiful project. Meetings with CODIR members and the HR team played a key role in my decision. We share common values and vision focused on respect for people, an entrepreneurial vision and the desire to allow everyone to express their potential; this alignment was crucial for me.
The challenge of supporting, structuring and professionalizing the HR function of a fast-growing international group is highly motivating. Consulting is a business sector that I know, the human being is at the heart of the model and I am familiar with the HR challenges facing the company. Finally, the strong commitment of the teams is really interesting because it involves a shareholding process accessible to certain employees. It gives a whole other dimension to everyone’s commitment and the common vision the Group must have. It also played a role in my choice to join T&S.
What do you like the most in your job?
Without hesitation, the notion of team work. Being able to work in synergy with the teams is very rewarding for me. I love to work in “project mode”, relying on everyone’s ideas and proposals, with a notion of deadlines and deliverables. In the HR sector, it’s more than interesting to combine the skills and visions of each other, so that we can create a real value for the company, because the human factor is complex and has many sides.
I am also passionate about HR innovation. We notice a real dynamic in the HR sector for some years, with a plethora of start-ups offering innovations (digital, artificial intelligence, matching, feedbacks, gaming, etc…). I find it very attractive to be able to bring the HR profession to “surf” on these new trends.
One last word?
I hope I’ll be able to bring all my energy to the service of T&S group and with the teams, so that we can to launch a strong dynamic in the field of HR and employer brand communication.
My door remains open to get to know and exchange with the members of the group!
