Junior consultant, works for T&S since January 2019

Axel, what is your academic background?

When I was young my dream was to become a helicopter pilot. I then started to grow curious about mechanics of motorcycles. I was always attracted by motorsports. Therefore, I completed my studies at the school of automotive, aeronautic and transport engineers (I.S.A.T) in Nevers. Moving forward, the field of autonomous vehicles really made me tick. I was more and more curious about the evolution of this new technology. This is why the “intelligent & autonomous vehicles specialization” was a no-brainer for me.

How did you start working for T&S?

To complete my studies, I did my 6-month internship at Technology & Strategy.

The advantage of this proposal was to work for a German multinational company in the automotive field. The project was focus on software tests for a new vehicle platform. It was a very enriching project from a professional point of view, I acquired different technical skills, but also from a cultural point of view with the international aspect. The experience took me outside my usual comfort zone and I have developed my language skills in English and German. I was considered as an employee.

Following this experience, I had the opportunity to sign a permanent contract with T&S. This was an opportunity for me to improve my technical skills through the different projects that are regularly proposed. My objective in the future is to have missions with responsibilities and to manage a team.

What do you like most about your job?

Working for prestigious clients at the beginning of my career and with colleagues from different cultures…

My daily challenge is to adapt the customers’ working methods with the market changes. Consulting is a very dynamic field and this is the reason why I like this field.
